Associate

Associate Candidates are trained for their first teaching examinations in Ballroom, Latin American, Classical Sequence, Rock+& Roll and also Freestyle.

Associate Examinations may be taken with the ISTD or IDTA or both.

The Associate Examination lays the technical foundation on which we base your future learning. Whilst studying for your Associate you will probably have already started or are about to start teaching Dancing.

You already dance to a good technical standard and are at least 17 years old.

Your first examination will be Associate Ballroom.
